Thursday Snapshot: Brody Says “Hi.”

January 22, 2009

sayinghello

Brody really wanted to say hello to everyone today. That’s why his mouth is funny looking. He is trying to speak to you, but all that comes out is “woooooooohhhhrrrrrrrr… rrrrrrroooooooooohhhhhhhhrrrr.”

This frustrates him.

2008: Favorite photos of the past year.

January 3, 2009

I’m planning to kick off with better/more regular posting on Monday. Today I just want to share some of the favorite photos that I posted in 2008. Most were taken by me, some are scans of old photos that are particular favorites. Enjoy!

Why do I drive 400 miles north in October for a 2-day trip?

Go, Dog, Go!

September 6, 2008

We took Brody to our favorite local park this evening so he could get in a good run. It’s a secluded spot with a maze of mowed paths running through tall grass and weeds, with woods nearby and no animal control officers in sight. 🙂  None of these photos are terribly crisp because of low light, rapidly moving dog, and limited photography skills on my part. But, I enjoyed this series enough to tweak the photos a little in Photoshop and put them together. Brody likes to run, and you can guage his level of joy by how far his tongue hangs out!
