New stuff.

January 4, 2010

I have just opened up a new blog… actually it’s all my “JogBlog” posts, imported into one place together, so that I can keep a blog that is dedicated to my jogging endeavors. Please check it out at “Cow To 5K.” There is a new post from today’s workout at the top! Eventually I’ll probably delete the JogBlog posts from this site, to clean things up a bit.

I did my best to explain these exciting changes to Brody, but this was the only reaction I got from him:

Good morning… time for bed.

November 24, 2009

Whenever he isn’t running willy-nilly on the trails at the park, Brody realllllly likes to lie around and sleep, especially on anything soft. He spends most of his day lying on an old dog bed in the corner of my office. Here he is just getting settled in after a long tiring morning of getting up out of his “real” bed up in our room, going outside to do his business, and having breakfast. Yep, that’s enough to wear anyone out, don’t you think? I’m looking at him now as I type this and his eyes are drooping already.

He turned two years old a little over a week ago. For his birthday I got him… you guessed it… a new bed.

Brody loves it when we turn on the hose. I mean he really, really loves it.

Thursday Snapshot: Brody Says “Hi.”

January 22, 2009

sayinghello

Brody really wanted to say hello to everyone today. That’s why his mouth is funny looking. He is trying to speak to you, but all that comes out is “woooooooohhhhrrrrrrrr… rrrrrrroooooooooohhhhhhhhrrrr.”

This frustrates him.

Go, Dog, Go!

September 6, 2008

We took Brody to our favorite local park this evening so he could get in a good run. It’s a secluded spot with a maze of mowed paths running through tall grass and weeds, with woods nearby and no animal control officers in sight. 🙂  None of these photos are terribly crisp because of low light, rapidly moving dog, and limited photography skills on my part. But, I enjoyed this series enough to tweak the photos a little in Photoshop and put them together. Brody likes to run, and you can guage his level of joy by how far his tongue hangs out! Click to enjoy a little bit larger view.
